One of the most classic Riojas! López de Heredia always ages its wine much longer than anyone else in the region. Rioja with 10+ years on it is amazing!

It's hard to beat a fresh Etna Bianco. This comes from a Contrada (Vineyard) called San Lorenzo. You get some high-quality grapes (mainly Carricante) and a very bright, stunning wine!

Châteauneuf-du-Pape pairs perfectly with autumn Boeuf bourguignon and other classic stews. Powerful and intense, decant and let it breathe before serving!

One of the best producers there is from Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Château de Beaucastel will make a perfect wine for autumn stews, and if you open it this year, decant it and let it breathe. Otherwise, you can age it a couple more years!

It's quite rare that a northern Rhône producer has a "Château", but of course Guigal has one. This iconic red is impressive, based on Syrah with a small amount of Viognier. Here, you already get a wine with some age. Still, decant it before serving and let it breathe. It will only get better!

Named after the Strada Provinciale 68, the road that runs between the vineyards. This ready-to-drink fresh red wine can also be enjoyed slightly chilled. No need for decanting or aerating. This wine is delicious now!

Maybe the coolest and most minimalistic label of them all. Arnot-Roberts, by Duncan Arnot Meyers and Nathan Roberts, was founded in 2001 and has since become one of California's most iconic producers. Terroir-driven wines from many interesting vineyards and grapes. And of course, you can't go wrong with Chardonnay!

Ojai is pronounced similarly to "Oh-hi". From the cool Santa Maria Valley, you get a fresh, fine acidity and a rich, complex Chardonnay. Pair it with elegant fish dishes or cheeses!

A powerful Barolo from the cru site Parussi, a great companion for autumn stews!

Great Etna Rosso from Contrada San Lorenzo. The producer Terre Nere always makes top-quality wine, and if you're into Etna, this is for you!

The second wine from Château Palmer. An iconic producer who works with biodynamic techniques on the left bank of Bordeaux. This Château is really at the forefront in Bordeaux, and the wine is delicious!

This is one of the most fun non-alcoholic options from Copenhagen Sparklig Tea Company in Denmark. Based on Jasmine, Darjeeling, and White tea, it doesn't try to be a non-alcoholic sparkling wine. It does its own thing!

Arnot-Roberts may be one of the most influential producers of the more elegant, terroir-driven wines from California. Everything from their Chardonnays to their Syrah is always top-notch!

The iconic producer Guigal's own Château! Owning a "Château" in the Rhône Valley is a story in itself. This family has been making wine for many years now, producing everything from entry Côtes du Rhône wines to the "La's" vineyards. This is master-level produced Syrah with a little bit of Viognier, a classic wine!

Dönnhoff always produces great wines. Serve this with sushi or spicy courses, and the residual sugar will match the umami and heat perfectly. You can also age this wine. Riesling with 20+ years is a real treat!

There's something to great Chardonnay, the world's most popular white wine grape. And there's something to Oregon, the atmosphere of the farmland. A sort of perfect recipe to make great wine!

The Moreau family always delivers good wines. Although this wine is only classified as Bourgogne Blanc, you can expect really good winemaking here that you would connect with higher (more expensive) appellations. It's drinkable now!

A standard champagne to always have at home, ready to be served for celebration or just the evening occasion!

From one of the oldest families that established themselves as growers in Champagne. In 1522, the Philipponnat family was not yet producing Champagne, but was of course learning the land for the many years to come. Today, they deliver wines that always make one happy! Who doesn't like Champagne?

This one pairs well with shellfish, fish dishes, and spicy food! Riesling is always a good choice!

Lilly Bollinger only produces an excellent rosé. A wine that I myself enjoy very much pairs well with summer cuisine, but you should drink champagne year-round, though!

House champagne, anyone? Blanc de Blancs always works, especially when it's from the oldest champagne house, Ruinart, founded in 1729. The bottle’s beautiful, unique design is a classic too!

Larmandier-Bernier is a high-quality grower-producer. Every time I get the chance to have a glass of rosé, I take it!

Trentodoc truly delivers some fresh, elegant sparkling wine. In this one, it's 100% Chardonnay. A wine that can start your dinner and go to appetizers, or even the first course. There is no connection to the car manufacturer, but this one tends to finish fast, so be quick and pour yourself a glass before someone else does!

If you want to treat yourself to some pre-phylloxera old-vine Etna, here you go! The concentration of flavors that you get from these grapes is outstanding. A truly exceptional wine!

This is a wine I really like. I have even been to the estate and met the founder, Marco De Grazia, himself. A pioneer of Etna and was formerly sort of the coach or founder of the Barolo boys. He's a cool guy who produces great wines!

This wine is a conversation-starter. The wine "No Name" has many different stories, and you could discuss them all during dinner. It's both a sort of protest for the strict rules of the Barolo appellation and a fun way to name a wine that does its own thing. And it sure is good!

Barolo is perfect for the summer grill or maybe stored in the cellar for a couple of years. Ripe and intense when young, elegant and delicate when aged. Buy it for now, or buy a few to forget about them and discover them in your cellar in ten years; you'll be happy either way!

Oregon Pinot is a must-try!

From Dominique Lafon, one of the greatest producers of Meursault, this is the Saint Véran version. This is part of a plan to expand into other vineyards outside of Meursault, a plan in place since 1999. In this wine, you get a top producer for a good price!

Meursault with elegance! Decant it, and it will be even better, preferably serve it in larger Burgundy glasses!

When Bollinger makes a rosé, it's always great, balanced with fruit, elegant, and with nice structure. It's a treat drinking this wine, it always puts a smile on my face!

Blend from three vineyard sites at 920 to 1,450 meters altitude. Ripe grapes with a freshness that only high-altitude wines can achieve. Dark, juicy fruit with well-integrated tannins. Preferably decant.

Dönnhoff is one of the truly great names in Nahe. Oberhauser Leistenberg is a southeast-facing and steep vineyard site that time and again has proven to be an excellent growing site for Kabinett Riesling. Fresh, focused, and with classic freshness.

Multi-vintage blend of Pinot Noir (45%), Chardonnay (33%) and Meunier (22%), with 35% reserve wine from their perpetual reserve since 1985. Precise, mineral-driven, and with a freshness that carries through the entire meal.

The first whisky I ever bought when I turned 20 was the Macallan Sherry Cask 12 Year-Old. This is an old-time classic, an introduction to the world of Macallan whisky. This bottle has a special place in my heart, a whisky I will always cherish!

From one of the most classic producers of Sonoma, you have to try this one. Either age it for a few years or decant it before serving. A lovely expression of Sonoma Chardonnay!

Brunello is always a good choice, decant if you would serve it today or save it in your cellar for a couple of years down the line!
