I am a professional sommelier with over 20 years of experience in the world of wine. My current work is based at Sommelier World, where I offer training, consultancy, and guidance in wine culture. My formal education includes the Romanian Sommelier Diploma, the ASI Diploma, and WSET Level 2 completed in London in 2014. Over the years, I have developed strong expertise in wine regions, viticulture, oenology, sensory analysis, food pairing, wine service, cellar management, and luxury hospitality standards. I strive to create memorable guest experiences, curate intelligent and diverse wine lists, and stay updated with global wine trends, vintages, and producers. My professional achievements include winning the title of Best Sommelier of Romania in 2023, participating in the Best Sommelier of Europe competition in Serbia in 2024, and joining ASI bootcamps in France and Poland. Wine is more than a profession for me — it is a lifelong passion rooted in culture and tradition. I take pride in exploring new regions, supporting local wineries, and sharing knowledge with guests and colleagues, always aiming to bring the story of each bottle to life.
