Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a luminous golden hue, hinting at both richness and freshness. The nose is deeply expressive, with notes of white currant, green almond, honeyed minerality, and subtle spice layered over delicate floral tones. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, intensely concentrated, and beautifully balanced, with pristine fruit purity and a refined, almost oily texture. The finish is long and mineral-driven, with the structure and depth to age gracefully for decades in a good cellar.

Production
This wine comes from a single parcel of very old Roussanne vines at Château de Beaucastel in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, where the stony, sun-drenched terroir of the Southern Rhône brings both power and finesse. The fruit is harvested carefully to preserve freshness and aromatic detail, then aged in barrel to add texture, complexity, and integration without overwhelming the grape’s natural character.

Food & Serving
Best enjoyed with richly flavored dishes such as lobster, turbot, roasted poultry, truffle risotto, or creamy mushroom preparations, as well as mature hard cheeses. Serve lightly chilled, around 10–12°C, and consider decanting young bottles to open the aromatics and soften the wine’s impressive structure.
