Zyme Kairos 2021 is a distinctive Veneto red built on the idea of perfect timing: Kairos means “the right moment” in ancient Greek, and this blend captures that spirit beautifully. Made from an unusually broad mix of 15 grape varieties, it reflects the creativity and complexity of Zyme’s Harlequin project, with a label that hints at the wine’s many layers and vivid personality.

Tasting Notes
Kairos typically shows a deep, intensely colored profile, with aromas that move from ripe dark fruit and red berries to spice, herbs, floral notes, and subtle Mediterranean complexity. On the palate, it is likely to feel generous and multidimensional, with a rich fruit core balanced by structure, freshness, and a long, evolving finish. Given its ambitious blend and concentration, this is a wine that can develop beautifully in bottle over time, gaining additional nuance and harmony with age. This is a versatile, food-friendly red that works well with roasted meats, game, aged cheeses, and rich mushroom-based dishes. It can also complement Mediterranean fare and flavorful braised dishes. Serve it at around 16–18°C, and decanting for about an hour is recommended to let the wine open fully.
