My interest in wine was awakened early. As early as at the age of 17, I began to immerse myself in the world of wine and everything that comes with it.
It all started quite simply with learning to read the labels on different wines. From there, my interest quickly developed into a passion for grape characteristics, wine regions, countries, and the stories hidden behind each bottle.
I quickly realized that, for me, wine is about far more than what is in the glass. Wine is about community, experiences, and what arises around the table. That is why today I feel incredibly privileged to be able to work professionally with my greatest hobby while also having the opportunity to share my passion with guests, colleagues, and anyone interested in wine.
My development as a sommelier gained momentum through several years at Bistro Boheme, where I had the opportunity to work with some fantastic wines. Since then, I have taken over the role of Head Sommelier at Restaurant Udtryk in Copenhagen, where I continue to develop the wine list and experiences for the restaurant's guests, with the goal of making wine feel present and inviting for everyone.
