A poised, site-expressive Grüner Veltliner from Loibner Klostersatz, this 2024 combines juicy yellow-fruit character with the variety’s signature white-pepper spice. Its balance and clear mineral thread offer an elegant snapshot of Wachau’s distinctive vineyard character.
Tasting Notes
The nose brings together hay and dried herbs with fresh nutmeg spice and a hint of white pepper. On the palate, ripe mirabelle plum, cantaloupe and yellow apple meet lively, well-integrated acidity; the 13% alcohol sits gracefully within the wine’s balanced, juicy style. A mineral note carries through to a long finish, alongside a characteristic peppery lift.
Production
The wine comes from the Loibner Klostersatz vineyard, where gravel and sandy soils contribute to its pronounced mineral character. Details on harvesting and vinification were not provided.
