Made from a special clone in Käferberg and fermented as whole clusters, it stands out for its layered structure, finesse, and historical character.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, the wine shows a deep ruby-red color. The nose offers ripe red berries, gentle spice, and a subtle floral lift, giving it an inviting yet refined profile. On the palate, it is full-bodied and concentrated, with silky tannins, fresh acidity, and a long, elegant finish. The whole-cluster fermentation adds complexity and structure, while the wine’s balance suggests strong aging potential.

Production
The grapes come from the Käferberg site in Niederösterreich, where clay, marl, loess, rare gravel layers, and crystalline rock create a complex terroir for Pinot Noir. Harvesting is done selectively by hand, and fermentation is spontaneous, slow, and gentle. The wine is made using whole-cluster fermentation, including the stems, followed by pressing and final maturation in small oak barrels.

Food & Serving
This Pinot Noir pairs beautifully with roast poultry, duck, mushroom dishes, veal, or lightly spiced game. Serve it at 14–16°C and consider decanting for about 30 minutes if you want to open up its aromatic layers and soften the structure.
