Description

Emrich-Schönleber’s Halenberg Grosses Gewächs brings together the precision of Nahe Riesling and the distinctive character of one of the region’s most celebrated vineyard sites. Presented in magnum, this 2022 offers an excellent format for sharing now or allowing the wine to develop over time.

Tasting Notes
The Halenberg style is more restrained than overtly opulent, with elegant Riesling fruit set against finely layered mineral detail. The nose can show delicate herbal notes, wet-flint reduction and the site’s characteristic smoky edge; the fruit remains composed rather than exuberant.

Production
