Tasting Notes
Pale gold in the glass, this Chardonnay opens with a striking, layered bouquet of yellow pear, lemon, mandarin blossom, mirabelle plum, lemon thyme, yellow rose and wet stone. It’s beautifully aromatic without being heavy, with a pure, lifted quality that immediately signals the wine’s precision and site character. On the palate, it is both generous and highly refined, delivering ripe citrus and stone fruit wrapped around a vibrant mineral spine. The texture is supple and mouth-filling, yet the wine remains effortlessly elegant, finishing long, saline, and full of energy. While already compelling now, it has the balance and structure to develop gracefully over the next several years.

Production
The fruit comes from Freedom Hill Vineyard in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, a site known for producing Chardonnay with concentration, tension and distinctive mineral character. Grapes are harvested and sorted by hand, ensuring only the best fruit makes it into the final wine. Fermentation and maturation take place in a combination of new and used French oak barrels, adding subtle complexity and texture without overpowering the wine’s bright, terroir-driven profile.

This Chardonnay is a natural match for richly textured seafood dishes such as lobster, scallops, roast halibut or crab, as well as roast chicken, creamy pasta and mushroom risotto.
