Roberto Voerzio is renowned for extremely low yields through green harvesting, meticulous bunch selection, and hand-harvesting at optimal ripeness to achieve concentration without heaviness. In the cellar, the grapes are gently crushed and undergo a careful, temperature-controlled fermentation and maceration to extract fine tannins and pure fruit rather than aggressive structure. The wine is then aged in a combination of French oak (with a restrained proportion of new barrels) and larger neutral wood before a period of bottle refinement, allowing the cru’s character to shine through with clarity and precision.
