Villa Raiano’s Greco di Tufo Ponte dei Santi 2024 is a refined expression of one of Campania’s most distinctive white grapes. Produced in the heart of the Greco di Tufo denomination, it combines bright Mediterranean freshness with the mineral character traditionally associated with the region’s volcanic, sulfur-rich soils. Greco has been cultivated in southern Italy for centuries, with roots tracing back to the ancient Greek settlers of the area.

Tasting Notes
Bright straw-yellow in appearance, the wine opens with aromas of ripe citrus, white peach and pear, complemented by delicate floral notes and a distinctive mineral, slightly smoky edge. On the palate, it is fresh and structured, balancing juicy fruit with lively acidity and a subtle saline quality. The finish is persistent and refreshing, with hints of citrus zest and stone. While delicious in its youth, the wine’s acidity and structure should allow it to develop additional texture and complexity over the next few years when properly stored.

Production
Made from 100% Greco, the wine reflects the high-altitude, mineral-rich terroir of Campania’s Greco di Tufo area. The grapes are carefully harvested at optimum ripeness before gentle pressing and fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks, preserving the variety’s natural freshness and aromatic clarity. Further resting on its fine lees helps add body and a more rounded texture.

Food & Serving
Serve well chilled at approximately 10–12°C. Its freshness and mineral character make it an excellent match for seafood, shellfish, grilled fish, calamari, pasta with clams and fresh cheeses; it also pairs well with Mediterranean vegetable dishes and white meats. Decanting is not normally necessary, although allowing the wine to breathe briefly in the glass can reveal additional aromatic detail.
