Terrazas Malbec Organic 2024

Terrazas Malbec Organic 2024 is a fresh, contemporary take on Argentina’s signature grape, crafted from 100% Malbec grown across more than 100 high-altitude vineyard parcels in Mendoza. With fruit sourced mainly from Uco Valley and the highest sites in Las Compuertas, it captures the balance of ripe fruit, mountain freshness, and elegance that has made Malbec one of Argentina’s most important wines.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep ruby-red color with an inviting, expressive nose of blackberry, sun-ripened plums, and wild strawberries, lifted by violet, freshly ground pepper, and high-altitude herbal notes. The palate is juicy and vibrant, with silky tannins, concentrated dark fruit, and a fresh line of acidity that keeps the wine energetic and well balanced. The finish is long, clean, and mineral-driven, leaving plenty of dark fruit character behind. Thanks to its structure and freshness, it has good aging potential and should develop gracefully over the next 5–10 years.

Production
This Malbec comes from more than 100 high-elevation vineyards in Mendoza, with most parcels transitioning to organic farming. The main sources are Uco Valley and the highest parcels in Las Compuertas, Luján de Cuyo, where warm days and cool nights help preserve freshness while building ripe, concentrated fruit. Terrazas de los Andes works with regenerative and organic vineyard practices to protect biodiversity and express the purity of each terroir as clearly as possible.

Food & Serving
A versatile match for grilled beef, lamb, empanadas, mushroom dishes, and richly seasoned vegetable plates. Serve at around 16–18°C, and if possible decant for 30–60 minutes to open up the aromatics and soften the tannins.
