Tasting Notes
In the glass, Aliotto 2023 shows a vivid ruby-red color with youthful brightness. The nose is expressive and inviting, with red cherry, plum and wild berries lifted by hints of Mediterranean herbs, subtle spice and a gentle woody nuance. On the palate, it is balanced and supple, with juicy fruit, fine tannins and a fresh, mineral-driven finish that reflects its Tuscan coastal origins. The blend gives the wine both immediate charm and enough structure to develop further over the next few years, though it is already highly enjoyable now.

Production
Aliotto comes from Tenuta Podernovo on the Tuscan coast, where the vineyards benefit from a maritime influence that helps preserve freshness and aromatic intensity. As the estate’s first certified organic wine, it reflects a careful approach to vineyard management, with the Sangiovese, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes selected to express both varietal character and the unique terroir. Vinification is aimed at preserving purity, balance and finesse, resulting in a modern yet distinctly Tuscan style.

Food & Serving
This wine pairs beautifully with roasted poultry, grilled meats, Tuscan-style pasta dishes, mushroom risotto and aged pecorino. Serve at 16-18°C, and if possible, decant for 20-30 minutes to allow the aromas to open and the tannins to soften.
