Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a delicate rosé hue with an inviting, polished look. The nose is expressive and fragrant, with rose petals, red currants and strawberries leading the way. On the palate, it delivers layers of ripe red berries, especially strawberry, raspberry and currant, balanced by a refreshing acidity that keeps the wine light on its feet and very refreshing. The style is crisp and immediate, but with enough fruit depth to remain satisfying; best enjoyed young for its vibrant freshness, though it should hold well in the short term.

Produced by Weingut Steininger in Niederösterreich, this rosé comes from vineyards in the Langenlois area, where the family’s parcels extend into higher, cooler sites that help preserve freshness and aromatic clarity. The wine is vinified in stainless steel to keep the fruit pure and the style clean, with the focus clearly on balance, brightness and drinkability.

Food & Serving
An ideal match for fish dishes, shellfish and other seafood, this rosé also works well with light summer salads and Mediterranean starters. Serve chilled, around 8-10°C, and there is no need to decant; simply open and enjoy while the wine is fresh and vibrant.

Weingut Steininger is a respected family estate in Langenlois, in the heart of Kamptal, one of Austria’s most important wine regions.
