Tasting Notes
In the glass, Chairman’s Reserve typically shows a warm amber-gold color. The nose is inviting and layered, with notes of vanilla, toasted oak, caramel, dried fruit, and a gentle touch of spice from its time in bourbon casks. On the palate, it feels rounded and smooth, with flavors of toffee, baked fruit, oak, and soft baking spices unfolding in good harmony. The extra rest in oak after blending adds polish and integration, giving the rum a balanced finish with enough richness to stand on its own. It has solid aging potential in the bottle, though it is already very approachable and complete.

Produced by Saint Lucia Distillers, Chairman’s Reserve is a blended rum combining younger and more mature spirits for complexity and balance. The rum is aged in American oak barrels that previously held bourbon whiskey, then married and returned to oak casks for an additional six months to bring the components together and refine the final profile.

Food & Serving
This rum is highly versatile: enjoy it neat as a digestif, over ice, or in classic rum cocktails such as an Old Fashioned-style serve or a premium Daiquiri. It pairs well with grilled pineapple, caramel desserts, dark chocolate, and spiced dishes. Serve slightly below room temperature, around 16–18°C, and decanting is not necessary.
