Son Prim Roset 2024

Son Prim Roset 2024 is a fresh, elegant rosé from Mallorca that shows off the island’s sunny charm and the precision of winemaker Jaume Llabrés. Made from Merlot and Syrah/Shiraz, it combines bright fruit, subtle spice, and a beautifully pale pink colour, making it a stylish choice for summer drinking. While very much enjoyable now, it also has enough balance to develop nicely over the next few years.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a delicate, attractive pink hue that immediately signals freshness and finesse. The nose is generous and aromatic, with notes of fresh peach, raspberry, and melon leading the way. The palate is fuller than many rosés, with vivid flavours of grapefruit, orange, and raspberry, followed by a light spicy touch that adds depth and interest. The finish is long, lively, and persistent, giving the wine real presence. It is delicious now, but its structure suggests it can hold for a couple of years in the cellar if desired.

Winemaker Jaume Llabrés works with Merlot and Syrah/Shiraz, fermenting and maturing the wine in stainless steel tanks to preserve the purity of the fruit and keep the style fresh, vibrant, and precise.

Food & Serving
This is a versatile rosé that works especially well with grilled prawns, fresh salads, tapas, light Mediterranean dishes, and charcuterie. Serve it well chilled at around 8–10°C to best highlight its freshness and aromatic character. Decanting is not necessary.
