Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep, intense colour that hints at its concentration and structure. The nose is wonderfully expressive, opening with red cherry and floral notes before unfolding into layers of chocolate, cinnamon, and vanilla from its time in oak. On the palate, it is bold yet beautifully balanced, with ripe fruit, freshness, and a lingering, satisfying finish. The blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah gives it both backbone and smoothness, while the French oak adds polish without overpowering the fruit. It already drinks well, but its structure suggests very good ageing potential over the coming years.

Production
Son Prim CUP 2023 is produced on Mallorca, where the island’s warm Mediterranean climate and varied soils help create wines with ripe fruit, freshness, and personality. The cuvée is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah, and it is matured for 12 months in French oak barrels, giving the wine added complexity, spice, and texture while preserving its balance and energy.

Food & Serving
This is an excellent match for grilled lamb, beef tenderloin, roast duck, mature hard cheeses, or rich Mediterranean dishes with herbs and tomato. Serve it at around 16–18°C, and consider decanting for 30–60 minutes if you want to open up the aromatics and soften the tannins.
