Production
Produced in the Douro, one of the world’s most dramatic and historic wine regions, Sequeirinha Ruby Reserve reflects the intensity of grapes grown on steep, schist-rich terraces under hot, dry conditions. These terroir conditions help create concentrated fruit and structure, which are essential to Port production. As a Ruby-style fortified wine, it is typically vinified to preserve freshness and vibrant color, with fermentation halted by the addition of grape spirit to retain natural sweetness. The wine is then aged in large vats or tanks to maintain its youthful fruit character and bold ruby profile.

Food & Serving
Sequeirinha Ruby Reserve pairs beautifully with dark chocolate desserts, berry tarts, hard cheeses, and rich nut-based pastries. It also makes a lovely after-dinner wine on its own. Serve slightly chilled, ideally around 16–18°C, and decanting is generally not necessary unless there is sediment.
