Production
This wine comes from Riddle Vineyard on the Sonoma Coast, a cooler-climate terroir well suited to Pinot Noir’s need for freshness, aromatic lift, and site expression. Rivers-Marie has steadily increased its holdings at the vineyard over several years, and this release marks the estate’s first single-vineyard wine from the site. The wine was aged in 100% French oak barrels, with 25–35% new oak, helping frame the fruit without overwhelming the vineyard character.
