Matured in traditional 550-liter barrels, it reflects the slow oxidative aging style that has long defined Portugal’s great fortified wines.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows the characteristic tawny hue, softened by time in cask and edged with warm amber tones. The nose opens with ripe plums, dark chocolate, and toasted nuts, while the palate is refined and harmonious, with a delicate sweetness supporting the elegant fruit and lingering nutty notes. The finish is smooth and well-balanced, carrying the roasted, nutty character that is typical of well-aged Tawny Port. Ready to drink on release, it offers immediate appeal rather than long-term cellaring potential, and is best enjoyed soon after opening.

Production
Produced in the Douro, where steep vineyards and a warm, dry climate shape concentrated, expressive fruit, this Tawny Port is aged in traditional 550-liter Port casks. Over as much as six years of maturation, gentle oxidation gradually softens the color and develops the wine’s signature toasted, nutty complexity before bottling.

Food & Serving
Ideal with nut desserts, chocolate desserts, or served simply alongside walnuts, almonds, and aged cheeses. Best served slightly chilled, around 12–16°C, and does not require decanting. Once opened, it is best consumed within a month.
