Tasting Notes
Pale straw-yellow in the glass, this is a bright and expressive white with a refined, floral profile. The nose opens with elderflower, citron apple, and pear, layered over subtle hazelnut and almond notes that add texture and nuance. On the palate, it is fresh, lively, and beautifully balanced, with clean fruit, fine mineral tension, and a delicate nutty finish that reflects the character of the Calvarino site. It is enjoyable now for its vibrancy and aromatic lift, but it also has the structure to develop additional complexity over a few years in bottle.

Production
Calvarino comes from one of the classic hillside areas of Soave Classico in Veneto, where volcanic and mineral-rich soils contribute to the wine’s precision and elegance. Produced organically by Pieropan, the grapes are harvested carefully to preserve freshness and aromatic clarity, then vinified with a focus on purity and balance to let the terroir speak clearly.

Food & Serving
This wine is a natural match for seafood, shellfish, grilled white fish, risotto with herbs, and light vegetable dishes. Serve chilled at around 8–10°C, and decanting is not necessary.
