Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a very vivid dark ruby-red color that hints at its depth and concentration. The nose is expansive and energetic, with ripe black cherry, chocolate, floral notes, smoke, and warm spice giving it both richness and lift. On the palate, the wine is defined by exceptionally soft, refined tannins and a beautifully balanced structure. It finishes with a fresh, persistent impression and a notably long aftertaste, suggesting strong aging potential and the ability to develop additional complexity over time.

Produced from 100% Merlot and organically farmed in the Valdarno di Sopra area of Tuscany, this wine reflects a terroir known for elegance and precision rather than sheer weight. Ideal with red meats, game, and aged cheeses, Vigna Galatrona is a natural choice for a special dinner. Serve it at around 16–18°C, and decanting for 1–2 hours is recommended to allow the aromatics and texture to fully open.
