Tasting Notes
In the glass, Bòggina B 2023 shows a bright golden straw color, hinting at its richness and careful élevage. On the palate, it is full-bodied yet refined, with a vibrant acidity that keeps the wine fresh and poised. Production
The grapes come from older Trebbiano vines originally planted in the 1970s and later replanted with the same clones to preserve the wine’s style and sense of place. Farming is organic, and the fruit is harvested by hand with strict selection in the vineyard. In the cellar, fermentation takes place with native yeasts, followed by extended aging sur lies in French oak tonneaux, with regular bâtonnage early on to build complexity and texture before gentle bottling with minimal filtration.

This wine pairs beautifully with rich seafood, roast chicken, veal, creamy pasta dishes and Tuscan-style vegetable plates, as well as aged cheeses and dishes with herbs or a touch of salinity. Serve it slightly chilled, ideally around 10–12°C, and decanting is not essential but can help open up its aromatic depth if enjoyed young.
