Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a graceful, mature colour that hints at its age and evolution. The bouquet is layered and classic Bordeaux: blackcurrant, ripe dark berries, and dried cherries woven together with cedar, cigar box, truffle, forest floor, and subtle oriental spice. On the palate, the wine is silky, harmonious, and fully resolved, with tannins that have melted into the fruit. Flavours of ripe black fruit, leather, tobacco, and spice unfold with impressive finesse, leading to a long, understated, and elegant finish. It is beautifully drinkable now, though its greatest asset is the extra nuance that only long bottle ageing can bring.

Food & Serving
This is a superb wine for classic, flavourful dishes such as roast lamb, beef tenderloin, duck breast, game, or truffle-infused dishes. It also pairs beautifully with mature hard cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C, and consider decanting gently for about 30–60 minutes if the bottle still shows some reduction, but avoid over-aeration due to its maturity.
