Pichon Comtesse de Lalande 2023 in magnum is a concentrated Pauillac built around Cabernet Sauvignon, with Merlot and Cabernet Franc adding depth and nuance. From a château classified as a Second Growth in the 1855 Bordeaux Classification, it has earned 97 points from The Wine Advocate and 99 from James Suckling.

Tasting Notes
The nose brings together blueberry, blackberry and plum with fragrant hints of violet, mint and pencil lead. On the palate, the wine is deep and tightly focused, with finely integrated tannins and a long finish. Its firm structure gives it strong potential for extended cellaring. The magnum format is also well suited to gradual development over time.

Food & Serving
Serve with roast or grilled beef, lamb, or other richly flavoured dishes. Aim for 16–18°C, and consider decanting for around 1–2 hours to allow this young wine to open up.
