Pasqua Romeo & Juliet Passione Sentimento Rosso is a richly styled Veneto red that combines ripe fruit, soft texture, and a touch of modern elegance. Inspired by the timeless love story behind its name, it stands out for its hand-harvested fruit, partial drying process, and the unmistakable signature of Pasqua Vigneti e Cantine.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows an intense ruby-red colour that hints at its generous, fruit-driven character. The bouquet is complex and inviting, with pronounced notes of red berries, ripe cherry, and subtle spice. On the palate, it is balanced, round, and supple, with a full, enveloping feel and velvety tannins that make it immediately approachable. The oak ageing adds a gentle layer of depth without overpowering the fruit, and the wine has the structure to hold up well over the next few years.

Production
This Veneto IGT is crafted from 40% Merlot, 30% Corvina, and 30% Croatina, sourced from vineyards in Veneto, where the region’s climate supports ripeness and aromatic intensity. The hand-picked grapes are dried in wooden crates inside the Fruttaio, where controlled humidity and airflow reduce the water content by around 30%, concentrating sugars and flavour before vinification. Each variety is fermented separately in stainless steel tanks and then blended, followed by 6 months of ageing in oak barrels.

Food & Serving
This is a versatile red that works beautifully with roast meats, grilled beef, braised dishes, and rich pasta recipes, as well as semi-mature cheeses. Serve it at 16–18°C to bring out its aromatic fruit and supple texture. Decanting is not essential, but a short decant of 20–30 minutes can help the wine open up if enjoyed young.
