Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows the deep garnet tones typical of Nebbiolo-based Barolo, with a refined edge that hints at both structure and maturity. The nose is generous and layered, offering ripe fruit, spice, and a touch of jammy warmth, all wrapped in the signature complexity of the grape. On the palate, this is a well-balanced Barolo with polished, mature tannins and a long, aromatic finish. The combination of concentration and elegance gives it excellent aging potential, though it already offers plenty of character for those who enjoy Barolo with depth and accessibility.

Production
Parusso Barolo Perarmando comes from the Marondino vineyard in Castiglione Falletto, one of the most respected communes in Barolo. The vineyard’s Piedmont terroir, shaped by limestone-rich soils and a favorable hillside exposure, helps Nebbiolo develop its distinctive structure and aromatic complexity. After harvest, the wine is matured in small oak barrels for 24 months and then held in bottle for a further 42 months at controlled temperature, allowing the wine to integrate and evolve before release.

Food & Serving
This Barolo is a natural partner for rich, flavorful dishes such as truffle risotto, braised beef, wild mushroom pasta, roasted game, or aged hard cheeses. Serve it at around 16-18°C, and consider decanting for at least an hour to allow its aromas and tannins to open fully.
