Description

Oxney Organic Estate Rosé is a non-vintage English sparkling wine from Sussex, made with Chardonnay, Seyval Blanc, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Its organic credentials and delicate rosé character set it apart, while its blend brings together classic sparkling-wine grapes with Seyval Blanc, a variety well suited to England’s cool climate.

Tasting Notes
Pale salmon-pink to light pink, with coppery and orange glints and a fine mousse. The aroma is delicate yet expressive, with fresh strawberries and redcurrants alongside hints of red cherry, berry preserve and lime zest. The palate is generous and fruity, balanced by a light, mineral, citrus-led texture and a clear, concentrated finish. Raspberry lingers on the aftertaste, with a touch of tannin at the close. Falstaff awarded it 89 points in its 2019 sparkling-wine tasting. No specific bottle-ageing guidance is available.
