Tasting Notes
In the glass, this wine shows a bright, elegant red hue typical of refined Pinot Noir. The nose is highly expressive, with wild juniper, resin, pine needles, white pepper, and aromatic herbs, unfolding like a walk through a mountain meadow in bloom. On the palate, it is dynamic and creamy, combining vivid freshness with a finely textured structure that keeps the wine light on its feet yet satisfying. The finish is aromatic and persistent, and while approachable now, it should gain additional nuance over the next few years.

Production
Produced from 100% Pinot Noir in the Aosta Valley, this wine comes from one of Italy’s highest and coolest wine regions, where mountain conditions help preserve freshness and aromatic precision. The grapes undergo one week of cold maceration followed by a 10-day fermentation, then the wine is aged for 18 months in large French oak casks, with eight months on the lees and an additional four months in bottle before release.

Food & Serving
This Pinot Noir pairs well with roasted poultry, duck breast, mushroom risotto, game birds, and alpine cheeses. Serve it at around 14–16°C, and decant briefly if possible to let the mountain aromatics fully open in the glass.
