Tasting Notes
In the glass, it typically shows a deep ruby to garnet color with excellent intensity. The nose is expected to open with blackcurrant, dark cherry, violet, cedar, graphite, and subtle spice, layered with hints of cigar box and fine oak. On the palate, the wine is medium- to full-bodied, with ripe cassis and plum framed by refined tannins, fresh acidity, and a long, precise finish. Cabernet Sauvignon brings definition and age-worthy structure, while Merlot adds mid-palate richness and Petit Verdot contributes color, spice, and grip. This is a wine that should develop beautifully over time and can reward cellaring for 10–20 years or more depending on storage conditions.

Production
Produced in Margaux on the Left Bank of Bordeaux, the estate benefits from gravelly soils that provide excellent drainage and encourage deep root growth, helping the vines produce concentrated, balanced fruit. The blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot is vinified in the classic Bordeaux manner, with careful parcel selection and oak maturation used to preserve purity of fruit while building structure and complexity.

Food & Serving
Best enjoyed with roast lamb, beef tenderloin, duck breast, mushroom dishes, or game with a rich sauce. Serve at 16–18°C and decant for 1–2 hours if opened young, allowing the wine to fully reveal its aromatic detail and soften its tannins.
