Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows the classic Barolo profile: deep garnet in color with bright ruby highlights that hint at its youth and structure. The nose is layered and inviting, with red cherry, rose petal, dried herbs, spice, and subtle earthy notes unfolding over time. On the palate, it is firm and energetic, combining ripe red fruit, savory complexity, and the fine-grained tannins that define great Nebbiolo. The balance between Bussia’s muscular character and the more graceful side of Cannubi and Terlo gives the wine depth and precision. It has the structure to age beautifully over the next decade or more, developing more truffle, leather, and dried flower nuances with time.

Production
This Barolo is sourced from a selection of vineyard sites in Piedmont’s Langhe, where varied exposures and soils contribute distinct personalities to the final blend. The powerful vineyards of Bussia in Monforte d’Alba provide structure and concentration, while Cannubi and Terlo in the commune of Barolo add elegance, lift, and balance. The grapes are harvested by hand and vinified with care to preserve the nuance of each subzone before the wine is matured to integrate tannin and aroma.
