Louis Roederer and designer Philippe Starck come together in this 2018 Brut Nature Rosé, presented in a giftbox. Made in Champagne’s early-ripening 2018 vintage, it pairs a vivid, fruit-led style with the distinctive, dry character of a Brut Nature rosé.

Tasting Notes
A pale salmon-pink colour leads to aromas of ripe red berries, orange and grapefruit, lifted by a refreshing touch of spice. The palate is medium-bodied, with generous fruit and a particularly textured feel; Pinot Noir brings extra depth, while the mousse is beautifully integrated.

Production
Around 20% of the blend comprises Pinot Noir that has been cold-macerated, contributing colour and an added dimension to the wine. Further details on the vineyard sites, harvest and vinification are not available.

Food & Serving
Try it with grilled salmon, tuna, roast duck or shellfish, whose savoury flavours complement the wine’s ripe fruit and lively citrus. Serve well chilled at around 8–10°C. Decanting is not necessary; open shortly before serving to let its aromas emerge.
