Description

Louis Roederer Carte Blanche 245 is a generous, finely balanced Champagne from one of the most respected houses in the region. Crafted in the house’s signature style, it offers freshness, depth and a touch of richness that makes it especially versatile at the table.

Tasting Notes
Pale gold in the glass with a fine, persistent mousse, this Champagne opens with aromas of ripe orchard fruit, citrus, white flowers and a delicate hint of brioche. On the palate it is smooth and expressive, with notes of pear, yellow apple, honeyed fruit and subtle pastry nuances, all lifted by a clean, vibrant finish. The wine’s rounded style gives it immediate appeal, while its structure and freshness allow it to hold nicely over the next few years if properly stored.

Production
Produced by Louis Roederer in Champagne, Carte Blanche 245 reflects the house’s focus on precision, balance and careful blending. The style is shaped by grapes sourced from select vineyard sites across the region, with vinification designed to preserve freshness while adding texture and complexity through reserve wines and extended cellar ageing.

Food & Serving
This Champagne works beautifully with seafood, lobster, roast chicken, creamy cheeses and refined canapés, but it is also rich enough to accompany lightly spiced dishes or fruit-based desserts. Serve chilled at 8–10°C, and no decanting is needed.

Producer
Founded in 1776 and later renamed under Louis Roederer in the 19th century, the house has become one of Champagne’s most iconic producers. Still family-owned, it is known for its consistency, elegance and strong presence in the region, with Cristal among its most famous achievements.
