Description
Louis Roederer Brut Nature Coffret de Luxe 2015 is a refined, bone-dry Champagne that showcases the house’s modern, precision-driven style at its most elegant. Crafted with no dosage, it offers a pure expression of the 2015 vintage and the artistry that has made Roederer one of Champagne’s most respected names.
Tasting Notes
In the glass, it presents a bright, luminous golden hue with a fine, persistent stream of bubbles. The nose is clean and expressive, with notes of citrus zest, white flowers, green apple, and subtle brioche-like depth, all carried by a distinctly mineral edge.
On the palate, the wine is crisp and taut, with vivid acidity, chalky texture, and flavors of lemon peel, pear, and saline freshness. The absence of dosage gives it a dry, precise finish, while the structure suggests excellent development potential over the coming years.
Production
Produced in Champagne, France, from carefully selected parcels that reflect Roederer’s commitment to terroir-driven winemaking, this Brut Nature is made without added sugar after disgorgement. The 2015 vintage is shaped by the region’s cool chalky soils and a warm growing season, with grapes harvested by hand to preserve quality and freshness. Vinification is carried out with a focus on purity and balance, allowing the character of the vintage and the underlying terroir to shine through.
Food & Serving
This Champagne pairs beautifully with oysters, sashimi, caviar, shellfish, and other delicate seafood dishes, as well as light poultry or aged hard cheeses. Serve well chilled at around 8–10°C, and decanting is not recommended; instead, open just before serving to preserve its finesse and effervescence.
Producer
Louis Roederer is one of Champagne’s most prestigious family-owned houses, founded in 1776 and elevated to international acclaim under Louis Roederer in the 19th century. Known for its dedication to vineyard ownership and meticulous blending, the house has built a reputation for producing finely structured, terroir-expressive Champagnes. Its Cristal cuvée remains one of the region’s most celebrated benchmarks of luxury and craftsmanship.
