Made from fully destemmed fruit, it captures a rounder, more supple style while still carrying the precision and energy that have made Lingua Franca one of the region’s most exciting names.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, this Pinot Noir shows a vibrant, alluring profile with lifted aromatics of violet, dark cherry, ripe forest strawberry, anise, and a touch of cinnamon. It is expressive without being heavy, giving a clear sense of both perfume and purity. The palate is soft and seamless, with a silky texture, bright freshness, and a lively line of energy that keeps the wine moving beautifully. Its balanced structure suggests very good drinking over the next several years, though it is already appealing for those who enjoy Pinot Noir with finesse and immediate drinkability.

Production
The wine is sourced from two volcanic vineyard sites in Yamhill-Carlton and Dundee, two of Oregon’s most respected areas for Pinot Noir. These soils typically lend lift, mineral tension, and a refined sense of structure to the finished wine. The fruit was fully destemmed, then fermented in a combination of stainless steel tanks and concrete before aging for 12 months in French oak, 25% of which was new.

Food & Serving
Serve at around 14°C in large Burgundy glasses to allow the aromatics to open fully. It pairs especially well with roast duck, mushroom dishes, grilled salmon, herb-roasted chicken, or earthy vegetable dishes such as beetroot and lentils. Decanting is not essential, but a short decant can help if served young.
