Korta Katarina Reuben’s Private Reserve 2019 is a bold, characterful Dalmatian red made from Babić and selected from the winery’s finest barrels. It balances impressive power with a rounded, harmonious feel, while retaining an elegant thread of fruit.

Tasting Notes
The nose opens with a lingering bouquet of dried dark fruit, berries and stone fruit, layered with delicate herbal and smoky notes. On the palate, the wine is deep and full-bodied, with ripe fruit, a pleasing touch of bitterness and a remarkably long finish. At 15.5% ABV, it is powerful yet composed.

Production
Reuben’s Private Reserve is the winery’s personal selection of its best barrels, with the finished wine given especially gentle, even maturation in bottle. Further details about the vineyards, harvest and vinification are not available.

Food & Serving
Serve at 16–18°C, after decanting for 30–60 minutes to let the aromas open. Its depth and structure make it a natural match for grilled or slow-roasted red meats, game and richly flavoured stews. The wine is described as being at its ideal drinking point, but can be kept for up to six more years.
