Highland Park Triskelion

Highland Park Triskelion is a distinctive, limited-edition single malt Scotch whisky from Orkney, created to showcase the influence of three different cask styles. Bottled without an age statement, it combines Highland Park’s gently peated character with rich sherry-seasoned oak and a powerful, full-bodied profile.

Aroma & Palate
The nose opens with aromatic peat smoke, dried fruit, orange peel and warming spices, alongside hints of toasted oak and sweet vanilla. On the palate, layers of dark chocolate, raisins, ripe citrus and honey are balanced by gentle smoke, pepper and oak spice. The texture is rich and rounded, leading to a long, warming finish with lingering dried fruit, subtle peat and sweet spice.

Distillation & Maturation
Triskelion was created using a combination of first-fill sherry-seasoned European oak casks, first-fill sherry-seasoned American oak casks and refill casks. This three-cask approach brings together rich dried-fruit notes, creamy vanilla sweetness and a more delicate oak influence, while Highland Park’s lightly peated spirit provides its characteristic smoky backbone.

Serving Suggestions
Enjoy it neat at room temperature to appreciate the whisky’s layered character, or add a few drops of water to open up its aromas and soften the alcohol. It can also be served over a large ice cube, although its depth and limited-edition character are best explored without a mixer. Triskelion pairs well with dark chocolate, smoked meats, mature cheese and desserts featuring dried fruit or caramel.

Distillery
Founded in 1798, Highland Park is one of Scotland’s northernmost whisky distilleries, located in Kirkwall on the Orkney Islands. The distillery is known for its gently peated spirit, traditional floor malting and use of sherry-seasoned oak casks. The name Triskelion refers to the three-legged symbol associated with the whisky’s three-cask maturation concept.
