Tasting Notes
Bright ruby-red in the glass, this Pinot Noir opens with expressive aromas of ripe cherries, raspberries and wild strawberries, layered with rose petal, Asian spices and subtle forest-floor notes. The nose combines generous red-fruit character with a refined earthy nuance typical of fine Russian River Valley Pinot Noir. The palate is silky and harmonious, revealing layers of red berries, cherry and cranberry supported by lively acidity and soft, well-integrated tannins. Hints of spice, black tea and discreet oak add depth without overshadowing the fruit. The finish is long, juicy and elegant, with a refreshing mineral character. Enjoyable now for its openness and balance, it should develop added savoury complexity over the next several years, with an approximate drinking window through 2029–2031 when well stored.

Production
The wine draws on a selection of vineyards across the Russian River Valley, where the cooling influence of Pacific Ocean fog extends the growing season and helps preserve freshness while allowing the grapes to develop concentrated aromas and flavour. The carefully selected Pinot Noir fruit is crafted to emphasise purity, balance and site character, with oak maturation used subtly to complement the wine’s red-fruit profile, spice and supple texture.

Food & Serving
Serve lightly below room temperature, around 14–16°C. It is a versatile partner for roast duck, chicken with herbs, pork tenderloin, mushroom risotto, grilled salmon and dishes featuring earthy vegetables. Decanting is not essential, but 20–30 minutes in a decanter can help the wine’s floral and savoury nuances emerge, particularly when enjoyed in its youth.
