Description

Graham’s Porto Tawny 10 Years Old is a beautifully aged Port that celebrates the craftsmanship, precision, and patience behind great Tawny. With a decade of careful maturation, it offers a refined balance of depth, elegance, and softness that makes it a standout choice for lovers of premium dessert wine.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, this Tawny shows a warm amber-brown color with golden highlights, reflecting its long ageing in wood. The nose is inviting and layered, with notes of dried figs, caramel, roasted nuts, orange peel, and subtle spice. On the palate, it is silky and mellow, with flavors of dried fruits, toffee, honey, and walnut, lifted by a gentle freshness that keeps it lively and well-balanced. The finish is long, smooth, and elegantly nutty. While ready to enjoy now, it will hold its character well for some time after opening if properly stored.

Production
Produced in Portugal’s Douro Valley, this 10-year-old Tawny Port is made from carefully selected base wines that are aged in seasoned oak casks. The region’s steep terraces, schist soils, and hot, dry climate help create concentrated fruit, while the long cask ageing slowly develops the wine’s signature Tawny complexity and amber color.

Food & Serving
Serve slightly chilled, ideally around 12–16°C, to highlight its freshness and aromatic complexity. It pairs wonderfully with nut tarts, crème brûlée, dried fruits, mature cheeses, and almond-based desserts, and does not require decanting.

Producer
Graham’s is one of the most respected names in Port, with a long history in the Douro and a reputation for producing wines of remarkable consistency and quality. Known for its expertise in both Vintage and aged Tawny Ports, the house has become a benchmark producer and a symbol of traditional Port craftsmanship.
