Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows the deep, classic color of a structured Nebbiolo, with aromas that unfold in layers of violet, rose, balsamic herbs, wild berry preserve, tar, leather, and truffle. The bouquet is both lifted and serious, offering the kind of complexity that rewards time in the glass. On the palate, it is warm, full-bodied, and supple, yet carries an elegant tension that keeps everything in balance. The fruit is intense and ripe, supported by firm, mature tannins and excellent length, suggesting strong aging potential and a wine that will continue to develop beautifully over the years.

Production
The wine comes from Vigna Rionda in Serralunga d'Alba, a terroir prized for producing Barolo with structure, depth, and aromatic complexity. The vines are crafted into a traditional expression of the site, with aging carried out in 16-hectoliter Slavonian oak casks for 18 to 36 months depending on the vintage, helping preserve purity of fruit while building refinement and texture.

This Barolo is a natural match for rich, savory dishes such as braised beef, game, truffle risotto, porcini mushrooms, and aged cheeses. Serve it at around 16–18°C, and decanting is recommended, especially in its youth, to allow the aromas to open and the tannins to soften.
