Tasting Notes
In the glass, it typically shows a bright garnet-red color with the lighter rim characteristic of Nebbiolo. The nose is refined and layered, with notes of rose petal, red cherry, dried herbs, tar, and subtle spice, all supported by a distinctly savory undertone. On the palate, this Barolo is structured and precise, with firm tannins, fresh acidity, and a long, persistent finish. Expect flavors of sour cherry, raspberry, licorice, forest floor, and mineral nuances. As a young Barolo, it can be quite closed at first, but it has excellent aging potential and should develop greater depth, softness, and complexity over time.

Production
Sourced from vineyards in the Barolo area of Piedmont, the wine reflects the region’s prized marl-rich soils and cool continental climate, which are ideal for Nebbiolo’s slow ripening. Grapes are typically harvested by hand to preserve fruit quality and allow careful selection in the vineyard. Vinification follows traditional Barolo methods, with fermentation and maceration designed to extract color, aroma, and tannin while preserving finesse. The wine is then aged in oak to build structure and complexity, resulting in a Barolo that balances power with elegance.
