Tasting Notes
Pale lemon-yellow in the glass, this Chardonnay opens with an elegant, lifted nose of green and yellow apple, pineapple, lemon, elderflower, and white blossoms. The aromatic profile is fresh and precise, with a clean coastal edge that keeps everything focused. On the palate, it leans into a lighter, more graceful style, where lemon, watermelon, and elderflower come together in fine balance. Rather than dominating with oak, the wine stays vibrant and transparent, finishing long, polished, and impressively persistent. It has the structure to age well over the next several years, developing extra nuance while maintaining its freshness.

Production
Platt Vineyard sits in the cooler western hills near Sebastopol, close to the Pacific Ocean, where maritime influence helps preserve acidity and build natural tension in the fruit. The grapes are harvested and sorted by hand, ensuring only the best berries make it into the cellar. Winemaker Ehren Jordan ages the wine in a combination of French oak barrels and cement, a thoughtful approach that adds subtle complexity without masking the vineyard’s character. The result is a Chardonnay that emphasizes clarity, balance, and site expression.
