Hirsch Vineyard sits on the Sonoma Coast, above the fog line on steep, cool-climate terrain that benefits from maximum sun exposure while retaining coastal freshness. The vineyard’s varied soils, including Goldridge, Hugo, Boomer, and Yorkville, contribute to the wine’s mineral edge, aromatic lift, and layered texture. In 2021, a warm but moderate growing season and even harvest conditions allowed for slow, complete ripening, resulting in low alcohol, fresh acidity, and well-integrated tannins.

Food & Serving
This Pinot Noir is a superb match for roasted duck, mushroom risotto, herb-crusted salmon, or game birds such as quail and pigeon. It is best served slightly cool, around 15–16°C, and while it can be enjoyed straight from the bottle, a brief decant of 20–30 minutes can help reveal its aromatic detail and savory depth.
