Sourced entirely from the historic Ferrington Vineyard in Anderson Valley, this is a wine with both pedigree and personality—serious, age-worthy, and unmistakably handcrafted.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a vibrant, dark-fruited profile with plenty of depth and energy. The nose opens with blackcurrant, blueberry, and rosewater, while the palate layers in red and dark cherry, raspberry, strawberry jam, cranberry, pomegranate, a hint of orange peel, smoky oak, cola, dark chocolate, and vanilla. Despite its youthful intensity, the wine already feels polished and composed, with the kind of structure that promises excellent development over time. It is impressive today, but it also has the balance and backbone to age gracefully for years to come.

Production
All the fruit comes from Ferrington Vineyard, one of Anderson Valley’s standout sites, originally planted in the 1960s. The vineyard’s cool-climate setting brings freshness, lift, and natural structure to the wine, while 16 months in French oak barrels, 39% of them new, adds spice, texture, and complexity.

Food & Serving
This Pinot Noir is a great match for duck, roast chicken, game birds, mushroom dishes, grilled salmon, or pork tenderloin. Serve it slightly cool, ideally around 16–18°C, and consider decanting for 30–60 minutes if drinking it young to let the aromatics and structure open up.
