Ettore Germano Barolo Cerretta is a characterful single-vineyard Barolo from one of Piedmont’s most respected family producers. Made from 100% Nebbiolo and shaped by four generations of winemaking passion, it captures the depth, structure, and longevity that have made Barolo one of Italy’s most celebrated wines.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep garnet color with bright orange reflections, hinting at both youth and classical Barolo evolution. The nose opens with ripe red fruit and vanilla, and with time in bottle it develops more complex layers of leather, tobacco, and berry-driven richness. The palate is full-bodied and enveloping, with firm but polished tannins softened by aging in small oak barrels. It finishes clean and persistent, with impressive intensity and the kind of structure that suggests excellent aging potential over many years.

Production
This Barolo comes from the Cerretta area in Piedmont, a site known for producing wines with power, precision, and aromatic complexity. The grapes are harvested from 100% Nebbiolo vines and vinified to preserve the variety’s classic character, before maturation in small barrels helps integrate the tannins and build texture.

Food & Serving
Serve this Barolo with robust dishes such as braised beef, truffle risotto, game, mushroom-based pasta, or aged cheeses. Ideal serving temperature is around 16-18°C, and decanting for at least 1-2 hours is recommended to allow the wine to fully open up.
