Tasting Notes
Pale straw in the glass with bright, crystalline highlights, this Riesling opens with delicate aromas of citrus blossom, green apple, white peach, and wet stone. On the palate it is fresh and vibrant, with taut acidity, clean citrus and orchard-fruit flavors, and a refined mineral thread that keeps everything focused and lively. The wine’s balance and structure suggest very good aging potential, with the fruit likely to gain breadth and subtle complexity over the next several years while retaining its hallmark freshness.

Production
Castel Ringberg lies in the cool-climate hills above Lake Caldaro in Alto Adige, where altitude, breezes, and significant day-to-night temperature shifts help preserve acidity and aromatic precision. Grapes are typically harvested by hand at optimal ripeness, and the wine is vinified with a gentle, low-intervention approach designed to protect freshness, fragrance, and the vineyard’s mineral character.

Food & Serving
This Riesling is an excellent match for shellfish, sushi, grilled white fish, asparagus, light Asian dishes, and goat’s cheese. Serve well chilled, ideally around 8–10°C, and decanting is not necessary unless you want to let the wine open up briefly in the glass.
