Tasting Notes
A lively garnet-red colour leads into aromas of berries, spice and a hint of chocolate. The palate is full-bodied and velvety, with firm yet measured tannins and a long, balsamic finish that balances richness with freshness. No specific drinking window is provided.

Production
The Merlot grapes are hand-harvested from vineyards in Termeno and Caldaro, at elevations of around 200–400 metres. Limestone-rich soils with sand and clay, together with the area’s varied mountain microclimates, contribute to the wine’s aromatic definition and structure. After ten days of skin maceration, the wine ferments slowly at controlled temperature in stainless steel, undergoes malolactic fermentation and matures in large French and Slavonian oak casks.

Food & Serving
Pair it with roasted meats or mature, aged cheeses, or enjoy it on its own. Serve at around 16–18°C. A short decant of 20–30 minutes may help open its aromas, though it can also be enjoyed without decanting.
