Domaine Vincent Dauvissat’s 2022 Chablis Grand Cru Les Preuses is a finely poised expression of one of Chablis’s most celebrated Grand Cru vineyards. It combines maritime freshness and stony tension with a refined, lingering finish, and is described as more ethereal than the domaine’s Les Clos.

Tasting Notes
The nose opens with oyster shell and iodine, joined by lemon zest and white flowers. On the palate, precise acidity and chalky, structured extract bring focus and depth, leading to a long, sharply saline finish. Elegant rather than imposing, this is a wine with the balance and structure to develop gracefully in bottle. Its long-term ageing potential will depend, as with any bottle, on sound storage and cork condition.

Food & Serving
Serve at around 10–12°C with oysters, shellfish, simply grilled fish or delicate seafood dishes. A young bottle can benefit from a little time in the glass; decanting is optional, but a brief, gentle decant may help it open up.
