Description

Domaine du Bagnol Cassis Rosé Bio 2024 is a characterful Provence rosé made from Cinsault, Grenache Noir and Mourvèdre, with a distinctly Mediterranean profile of ripe fruit, herbs and coastal freshness. From Cassis, an appellation closely associated with Provence’s maritime wine culture, it offers more savoury detail than a simple summer aperitif.

Tasting Notes
A bright red-gold hue with orange reflections leads into aromas of juicy vineyard peach, greenish mirabelle plum, gooseberry and mandarin peel. Herbal and balsamic notes of lemon balm, peppermint and blackcurrant leaf add complexity.

Production
Made from Cinsault, Grenache Noir and Mourvèdre and identified as organic. Details on the vineyard sites, harvest and winemaking process are not provided.

Food & Serving
A natural match for Mediterranean and Provençal cooking, particularly seafood, grilled fish and herb-seasoned dishes. Serve well chilled, but not ice-cold, to let its savoury aromas show. The producer’s tasting note recommends giving the wine air in a decanter before serving.
