Il Giallo di Costa is a 2019 organic orange wine made from Timorasso, the once-endangered Piedmontese grape now enjoying a remarkable revival. Daniele Ricci is among the most progressive voices in this movement, bringing the variety renewed attention both in Italy and further afield.

Production
The Timorasso grapes come from organically farmed vineyards in Costa, a small community in Piedmont. In the cellar, Ricci follows a low-intervention approach, working without additives, fining or filtration. Specific details about the vineyard soils, harvest and vinification are not available.
